Privacy by architecture
Your check-ins, scores, journal notes, trends and generated reports are stored on your device. TrendingMood does not receive or read them.
Local wellbeing data
Your wellbeing vault is stored locally in your browser. The app uses a PIN-derived cryptographic key to protect that local vault. Your PIN is not stored or sent to TrendingMood.
No journal analysis
Your optional notes are not sent to AI, classified, summarised or used to produce wellbeing patterns.
Anonymous aggregate counts
To understand whether the core product is being used, TrendingMood may send a minimal event when a daily or weekly check-in is completed. The event contains only the event name. We do not attach a user ID, device ID, wellbeing response, journal content or tracking-category information to it. The server stores aggregate counts rather than individual event histories.
As with any website, the hosting provider necessarily receives ordinary network information required to serve requests. TrendingMood's application does not store that network information alongside the anonymous aggregate check-in counter or use it to build a wellbeing profile.
No advertising trackers
The initial product does not include Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or behavioural advertising SDKs.
Data export and deletion
While unlocked, you can export your full wellbeing data in a portable JSON file and structured observations as CSV. You can also erase the local vault from the device.
Important limitation
Browser storage can be cleared by the user, browser or device under some circumstances. Export regular backups if your history matters to you. TrendingMood cannot restore local data that has been lost.
This is product privacy copy for the first technical version and must receive appropriate review before broad public launch.
